Ms. Bailey initially started out as a counselor but felt she could make more of a difference for people with disabilities as a lawyer. In this venture, she earned a JD from William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2019. Prior to that, she earned a master’s in community counseling from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Concord University in 2010. In her line of work, Ms. Bailey is able to address the needs of differently-abled people within the law. She is proud to have been published in many medical publications, which stem from her mental health counseling degree. Not many attorneys can say the same. Since 2019, she has served as an independent consultant for Gordian Partners, LLC, and has provided her skills and expertise as an external affair representative with Dominion Energy.
In her daily responsibilities, Ms. Bailey conducts legal and human resources research, and drafts bill suggestions. In her growing role, she has been tracking Covid-19 impact data. She has been recognized on numerous occasions for her work, including receiving the Law School Operations Scholarship for her time at William & Mary Law School (2019). She maintains affiliation with the American Bar Association and endeavors to continue growing in the corporate law field.
