Mr. Esparza is an esteemed attorney specializing in personalized approaches to business law, financial planning and trusts. Drawn to advocacy work from a young age, he explored several possible careers before deciding that law would be the best fit for his interests. Obtaining an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, he earned a Master of Business Administration in global business at Sungkyunkwan University, one of Seoul’s top colleges, in 2016. In 2017, Mr. Esparza graduated with a JD at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, for which he served as the assistant editor of the Indiana University Law Review. He was subsequently admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona. He dedicated the next year to developing his practice as counsel at the Milton Law Firm, departing in 2018 to join the Skymark Advisors Law Group. Founded in partnership with a certified financial planner, Skymark Advisors Law Group was established to address the complex legal and financial needs of individuals and small business clients seeking responsive, comprehensive support in planning for the future.

In addition to his work for Skymark Advisors Law Group, Mr. Esparza works closely with Arizona Community Legal Services to provide pro bono services for low-income clients. He attributes his success to his open-mindedness and a willingness to approach each case and client individually, catering his practice to their unique needs. A devout Catholic, he is a parliamentarian in his diocesan Knights of Columbus chapter and considers the story of the organization’s founder, Friar Michael J. McGivney, to be a source of inspiration. Ms. Hopper became involved in her profession because she felt there could be much more done for patients in the pharmaceutical field. She strongly believes that medical marijuana is a great alternative to people who have been hurt by the pharmaceutical industry and has focused much of her practice in these related areas. In her academic pursuits, Ms. Hopper first earned a BSW from Sailsbury University in 1997 and continued at Barry University to receive a MSW, cum laude, in 1998. In 2011, Ms. Hopper received a JD from Nova Southeastern University, and followed this degree with an LLM in health law and public policy at Seton Hall University School of Law in 2012.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Hopper spent several years as a social worker and in mental health, displaying an early propensity for helping others. In this respect, she was a school social worker for the Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services, as a psychiatric social work intern for the Florida Medical Center, as a psychiatrists assistant for Compass Health and as a technical recruiter for Technisource. Prior to making the switch to law, she served as a mental health advocate and Director of Public Policy for the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disability. Since receiving a Juris Doctorate, she has practiced law in a variety of firms and institutions. Ms. Hopper has aided clients and garnered experience at the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers, Five Corner Strategies, South Natick Law and Columbia Care. In 2020, Ms. Hopper became Associate General Counsel at Trulieve.

Ms. Hopper attributes her success to the people in her life, who have supported and taught her throughout her life. Though anticipating a long and fruitful career ahead of her, the highlight that has stood out the most thus far has been speaking to a group of parents of children with autism about how unique they are. In instances like this, Ms. Hopper can see the impact she has on others. Looking toward the future, she endeavors to follow the path of positive intentions as long as she keeps pursuing what she believes in and continue learning.
