Tina Xu, Attorney at Coombe Curry Rich & Jarvis, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of family law, employment discrimination (plaintiff’s side), construction law and personal injury law.
As a first-generation immigrant, Ms. Xu grew up watching her parents work hard to provide a better life for their family. Inspired by their efforts, and combined with her aptitude for writing, philosophy, and literature, she pursued the field of law. In this endeavor, she first earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and international studies at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. She then continued to earn a JD from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in 2018. While matriculating in her studies, Ms. Xu served as a court report editor at the University of Denver Water Law Review at the Sturm College of Law and as a student ambassador at the institution.
In 2020, Ms. Xu joined Coombe Curry Rich & Jarvis as an associate attorney. She previously garnered experience as an associate attorney at Anderson Barkley, LLC from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a judicial law clerk intern for the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts. She served as an office manager executive assistant for Triangle Insights Group, LLC from 2015 to 2016, as a fixed income pricing valuation assistant for Capital Group American Funds, from 2012 to 2014, and as a family law clinic-Justicecorps intern for the Los Angeles Superior Court, from 2011 to 2012.
Ms. Xu maintains professional affiliation with the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado (APABA). She is a former member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Dedicated to helping others, Ms. Xu volunteers and does pro bono work for the Association for Denver Metro Lawyers.
