Mohaimina Haque, Esq., Principal Attorney & Founder at Law Office of Mohaimina Haque Pllc, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of employment, immigration, business law, personal injury, and false advertising.

Early on in her life, Mrs. Haque knew she was destined to help others in whatever she set out to do. Guided by Albert Einstein’s statement, “A life lived for others is a life lived worthwhile,” she set out to be of service to others in the field of law. In this respect, she first earned an Associate of Science in politics from Mount Holyoke College in 2008. She continued her academic pursuits at Georgetown University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in social and public policy in 2010 and 2013, respectively. From there, Mrs. Haque went on to earn a JD, cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law.  She considers her background, quality of work, and skill set to be an ideal for the legal industry.

In 2019, Mrs. Haque opened the doors to her eponymously named firm, The Law Office of Mohaimina Haque PLLC. In this venture, she has brought her skills and expertise garnered through various positions. She previously served as Attorney of the Office of General Counsel with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as a paralegal specialist in the Appellate and Transportation, Energy, Agriculture Enforcement (TEA) Sections of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and as a White House Intern and intern for U.S. Senator Mark Warner.  Earlier in her career, Mrs. Haque was a Labor Policy Intern for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions and a Legislative Intern in the Office of U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Mrs. Haque considers the career highlight that she is most proud of thus far as balancing becoming a mother at an early age and reaching her professional achievements. She had her firstborn when she was in college while her husband was in law school. She never had the regret of picking one choice for another because she was always able to prioritize goals very well. She attributes her success to having a supportive family, great inspirations around her, her, and a combination of hard work and good luck. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Haque intends to grow her firm, hire more associates, be a part of more jurisdictions and help clients in whatever they need.
